Idyllic rivers, towering mountains and velvety-soft meadows: South Tyrol has the lot, and in the Tschamin Valley you can find it all in one tour. The Tschaminbach river babbles happily alongside you, the Rosengarten mountain provides a monumental backdrop and an oasis of meadows beckon you to relax and have fun in the thick spruce forests. What more could you want?

This hiking tour is included in the family hiking book "Out and about with Nix the witch".

Turn-by-turn directions

The hike begins at the Infopoint Steger sawmill at the entrance to the Tschamin Valley and leads past the “Schwarzer Lettn” and “Hoher Steg” springs. After you pass by the small Schaferleger clearing you will come to the Rechter Leger clearing, a particularly beautiful vantage point and a wonderful spot to stop off and relax. If you turn left just before the clearing, you will come to a waterfall. To return, take the forest road back to the „Schwarzer Lettn“ spring. At the turnoff, walk straight on towards Weißlahnbad (path n. 3) and back to the starting point.
If you want to shorten the hike, you can return on the same way you arrived.

Refreshment stop at the starting point of the tour. Not pram-friendly.
