To the Puez Hut above the Langental

Approach from Selva di Val Gardena (1537 m) to the car park at the entrance to the Vallunga (1625 m). Now follow the Mark. 4/14 north-eastwards first to the Silvesterkapelle chapel, then largely through woods more or less level, turn left at the fork, follow Mark. 4 to the left through woods and open slopes, up a medium steep slope to the crossing ridgeway (2414 m) and on this, now Mark. 2/4, on a level hike across a green terrace band eastwards to the hut (2475 m; from the car park 3 hours). - Descent: From the old hut on trail 14 through steep, largely green slopes overhung by vertical cliffs down to the head of the Langental valley, always on trail 14 soon over a wide meadow plan (Pra da Ri) with fountain and nearby private summer hut and then on the trail used in the ascent out of the valley to the starting point; from the hut 2:30 hrs.
