A multi-faceted hike near Bruneck.
Hard to believe... in the immediate vicinity of the town of Bruneck, this hike offers tranquillity and so many things that some people might not even think of...

We start this tour at the car park at the ice station. At the Gallerstöckl turn right and follow the path that leads flat through the forest, past the "Sternbachmoos". Continue along the path, which is signposted as "Panoramaweg Cron" in this section. The trail leads up to Bruneck Castle, where you cross the bridge and take a detour to the forest cemetery (military cemetery). The path now leads pleasantly uphill to the so-called Kaiserwarte - here a kind of stone column commemorates the visit of Emperor Franz Josef I in 1886. From here, the path - keeping to the right - leads slightly downhill through the forest to the next fork in the road, where you keep to the left. Follow the path until you come to a bee house on the left. Continue to the left here and then at the next fork in the road keep to the right and follow the path above the cultivated fields. A little later you will meet the markings again. Follow the marked path. At the first stitching path (wide forest path)
