Easily accessible via a cobbled street, the 15th century fortified tower is one of Riva del Garda's landmarks.

From Via Monte Oro, walk west towards Limone and then take a short climb to the fortress (15-20 minutes). Alternatively, you can reach the little church of Santa Barbara (approx. 600 m ü.a.s.l.) via path 404 in approx. 1 hour and the „Cima Sat“ (approx. 1500 m ü.a.s.l.) in another hour. From the tower you can enjoy a wonderful view of Lake Garda and the surrounding mountains. In spring and summer, a restaurant with bar invites you to linger.
