To the Auerbergalm
From St. Nikolaus through the Auerberg valley, which is deeply cut in the lower section, up to Auerbergalm.
From St. Nikolaus or the Talstra;e below the village, either follow trail marker 18, largely on the old alpine path, or to the north via the longer, but less steep forest path on the eastern slopes of the Auerbergtal valley through beautiful coniferous forests up to the Auerbergalm (1.644 m; snack station; just under 1.5 hours from the starting point) – Descent: &Uml;via the described ascent path, whereby in parts the footpath or the track can be chosen as an alternative to the route taken in the ascent (approx. 1 hour).
