Comfortable hike at the foot of the Vette Feltrine that makes you experience the pastures of San Giovanni and of Val Noana while crossing a Tibetan bridge suspended over Giasinozza stream.
moderate
Distance 12.7 km
The loop starts from San Giovanni and develops in the low part of Val Noàna. A particularly scenic spot is the one where you cross the Giasinozza stream with the new Tibetan bridge, a structure about 70 meters long standing 30 meters above the stream. From the start the road to reach the bridge is entirely downhill; once you leave the farmhouses of San Giovannni behind you, the landscape becomes quite wild and offers for a moment the opportunity to feel completely out of this world. It can be said that this loop is particularly suitable for people who like to experience hikes in solitude, away from crowded paths and places. Once across the stream, the pastures of Còl will appear in front of you and from that point the paths will cross a multitude of different pastures. (i.e. Fònteghi, Val Piàna).
Author’s recommendation
For lovers of high-adrenaline activities, around Rifugio Fonteghi, we recommend a canyoning route along the Noana stream

Pay particular attention to the stretch in the woods along the descent from San Giovanni, which can be arduous due to the plants and roots of the terrain. We recommend checking the conditions of the Tibetan bridge, which can be slippery.Tips and hints

Turn-by-turn directions
From San Giovanni, take path No. 726 toward Fonteghi, and after a first stretch on a paved road, you enter a very comfortable and wide downhill path. After the Tibetan bridge, after a short uphill stretch, you find yourself immersed in the pastures of Agaon and Col up until Rifugio Fonteghi. From Fonteghi, take path No. 733 toward Val Piana (the path can be difficult to follow in the first section because of the many fallen plants) going through the farmhouses of Val Piana di Sotto. From Val Piana di Sotto, follow the road toward Val Piana di Sopra through a comfortable forest loop road that leads to the small church in Val Piana di Sopra; from this spot you can enjoy a 360-degree view over the opposite Vette Feltrine, Cima Folga, and Pale di San Martino. The only thing left to do is to close the loop and reach Val Piana di Sotto once again and consequently take the road for Fonteghi. Instead of going up to Col we recommend following the paved road up to Agaon and from there taking the path again for the Tibetan bridge, already done previously, to return to the starting point.

Public transport
The bus service provided by Trentino Trasporti serves Trentino and Veneto, and you can find the timetables on the website www.ttesercizio.it. The name of the stop to get off at is Mezzano, which is about ten minutes from the starting point. The nearest train stops are Trento and Feltre, where there are bus lines to the town of Mezzano. For train timetables see www.fsitaliane.itGetting there
Parking
At the Poit pass there is a small clearing to park in, otherwise we recommend leaving the car in town and going up on foot; or reaching Rifugio Caltena and from there start the itineraryCoordinates
