A highly recommended spring or autumn hike for nature lovers and families through the vineyards of Lake Kaltern During the short hike we see the ruins of an ancient church and discover mysterious rocky inlets, castle ruins and an ancient mine among lolling plants. After starting at Lake Kaltern, we continue via the Manincor winery at the end of St. Josef am See through the Bärental valley towards Kaltern village. The walk leads through the middle of the vineyards.
Through the wine village of Kaltern we then walk on to the wineries at the end of the village. Below the South Tyrolean Wine Road, the path continues, again through vineyards, back to Lake Kaltern.
