A tour for (almost) anybody
Through the natural preserve of Fanes-Sennes-Prags

The tour starts near the historically interesting hotel Pragser Wildsee and it follows the shore of the lake until you reach its southern bank. Here you will leave the path Dolomiten-Höhenweg to follow the signs for the hut “Grünwaldhütte”, keeping slightly to the right. You have the chance to admire the formations of the Seekofel mountain (2810 m) right in front of you that will accompany you throughout the entire tour. More than once you will find picturesque locations that invite for short stops along the path. After just 30 minutes you will reach the goal of this hike, the hut Grünwaldhütte (1590 m). If you look further into the valley you can admire the mesmerizing panorama of the numerous peaks: Herrensteinturm (2247 m), Großer Apostel (1995 m), Großer Rosskofl (2559 m), Schwalbenkofel (2481 m) and so forth. The path back is the same as the one you have already walked.
