Green valley and wild gorge
To the refuge on the foothills of the imposing Rosszähne

You start the hike either at the Hotel Cyprianerhof in St. Zyprian or at the Tschaminschwaige immediately after Weißlahnbad and hike through the green Tschamin valley first on a forest road and then on trail 3 to the Rechter Leger. At the end of the Tschamin valley (1890 m), you do not climb to the right to the Grasleiten hut, but northwards into the wild gorge of the Bärenloch. The ascent is on rocky terrain and requires surefootedness and practice. The upper section is partly secured. At an altitude of 2350 m, you meet the path coming from the Sciliar houses. From here you reach the Tierser Alpl in about 15 minutes. The way back is via the ascent trail.
