Three castles hike near Eppan

From the centre of Missian, you walk on an asphalted road through vineyards and orchards, first to the south, then at the first fork in the road, the Burgenweg branches off to the right. Korb Castle and Boymont Castle above it in the forest are already in view. Follow the Burgenweg (castle trail) northwards, marked no. 12, and you will repeatedly have beautiful views of Bolzano and the Dolomites. At the height of the chalk tower, which is worth a short detour, the steep final climb up to the castle begins. At the top, a castle tavern invites you to take a well-deserved and pleasant rest. The onward route to Boymont Castle is somewhat adventurous, but well signposted. First you descend into the gorge of the Hocheppan valley, then climb up again on the other side via 60 metres of secured metal steps. After about 30 minutes you reach Boymont, where you can stop for a drink at the castle tavern. Afterwards, walk a short distance back on trail no. 14 down to the castle trail, turn left
