The Sentiero di Masarè (Hirzelweg) Trail
This is an easy yet beautiful hike for the whole family at the foot of the Catinaccio (Rosengarten) Massif

Hike provided by the Nova Levante (Welschnofen) Tourist Bureau. The hike starts out at the Frommer Alm alpine pasture, below the Catinaccio (Rosengarten) Massif. First, take the Laurin-Sessellift (chairlift) up to the Kölner (Rosengarten) Hütte mountain hut. Then walk along the Hirzelweg Trail (No. 549) along the foot of the Catinaccio Massif until Trail No. 9 branches off to the right underneath Croda Rossa (Rotwand) Mountain. Return on this trail as far as Kaiserstein then follow Trail No. 1c back to Frommer Alm.
