A hike to Parcines (Partschins) Waterfall, in the Lower Val Venosta (Vinschgau) Valley

The Lagundo (Algund) Tourist Bureau has provided us with this hike.  This hike to Parcines Waterfall northwest of Lagundo (Algund) can be done as a day trip: Follow Trail No. 7 from the Latteria Sociale di Lagundo (Algunder Sennerei) Dairy, via Plars di Mezzo (Mitterplars) and Plars di Sopra (Oberplars) until your reach Saxner Mill, and then turn left towards Parcines (Partschins). From Niedermair Tavern, take the Parcines Waalweg Trail into Valle Ziel (Zieltal) Valley to Trail No. 8 and continue to Birkenwald. From there, you can either take Trail No. 8 to the Gasthof Wasserfall Hotel or branch off to left, along Zielbach Stream, climbing up until you reach the waterfall. Return route: from Parcines (Partschins), follow Trail P to Plars di Sopra and then Trail No. 7 to Plars di Mezzo and the centre of Lagundo.
