Round hike on the east side of the Tauferer Tal valley - above Gais.

In Gais (836 m), follow the signs for the Waalweg (irrigation channel path) via the Talfriedenstra;e, first between the houses north-eastwards up to the forest and then on to the start of the Waalweg (signpost; approx. 900 m; about 20 min. from Gais). Now continue on the almost level Waalweg through the forest southwards to a kind of rock pulpit with a roofed shelter and then continue until the Waalweg joins a wide country lane; here turn right and hike on the country lane, only slightly descending, through the meadows and fields back to Gais.
