Impressive remains of the former Kandlwaal
The Laas Kandlwaal with its pillars in the village area does not allow for a walk along the Waal in the usual sense of the word, but it is worthwhile to walk down from the main road between the houses to the Etsch bridge, where the pillars can no longer be overlooked. Of course, a tour of Laas is also recommended, which boasts many a cultural-historical sight, such as the magnificent Romanesque façade of the parish church.
