The Alta Via n.6 "dei Silenzi"
From here, sweeping all around you can see on the left some Dolomite peaks among which Monte Pelmo is easily recognizable for its' throne 'shape ("' l Caregòn del Signor") and to the right the peaks of the Alpago including Monte Cavallo stands out, at the foot of which the Piana del Cansiglio lies.
But it does not end here, on the eastern side you can have an excellent view of the Val Lapisina (Fadalto), being able to see the Restello and Negrisiola lakes, the Nove hydroelectric power plant and the A27 motorway. Looking south you will be able to see the whole plain below until you reach, on clear days, the Venetian lagoon.

Turn-by-turn directions
The path climbs up a pleasant path between hornbeams and beeches initially alternating the climb with easy passages on a slight slope. After crossing a grove of hazelnuts, in rapid leaps you reach the Grotta of the Madonna Dell'Agnelezza, a resting place and a place of prayer for mountain lovers who here - every year at the end of April and at the end of October - open and close the hiking season with the celebration of a Holy Mass animated by the Cai Choir of Vittorio Veneto. Continuing on the path, after a few steps, you reach a panoramic point where, on clear days, the gaze borders on the Venetian lagoon.
We ignore two crossroads to the right of the path, keeping the signpost that leads us in a few minutes out of the woods, on the grassy part of the south-west side of the mountain and then turn right among some shrubs and climb the ridge without any shelter, offering an overview on part of the Val Lapisina and a glimpse of the lakes below until you reach, with rather steep and gravelly sections, the summit of Monte Pizzoc near the AVAB stone.
Continue east on Path H3 which winds first on a grassy area and then on a dirt road up to the Città di Vittorio Veneto Refuge from which, right in front, starts the track called "the Direttissima" for the very short route how steep the descent that, passing alongside some pylons of the old cableway of the cement factory that led downstream - in the locality of Sant'Andrea in Vittorio Veneto - the material extracted from the quarry whose remains are still visible behind the Refuge itself, arrives hastily to intersect the Sentiero del Bracconiere with signpost n ° 981 in the locality of "Costa Fontana" to continue in front of the source and turn south again and, always in steep descent, enter the "Del Santo" forest road. From here, turning first to the right and then keeping to the left, you will find yourself on the dirt clearing of the outward route and, going back down, you will return to the town of Sonego.
