The Aldeiner Almenrunde

Drive from Auer or Neumarkt im Unterland to Aldein and the nearby hamlet of Lerch, from where a road leads flatly to a forest car park below the Laneralm (1550 m). From there, follow the signpost "Laneralm" on foot on a wide path through the forest in a short ascent to the Laneralm (1583 m; bar), briefly flat westwards, then follow the signpost 3 and the signpost "Wei&szligstein";Weißenstein« following tracks through a grassy forest aisle up to a forest path, continue on this briefly to the forest hollow Kösertal (1696 m; junction of various paths), here follow the signs »Schönrast« turn left and follow the wide path across the forest slope north-westwards to the Schönrast-Schwaige (1699m; bar); from there, follow the S markings on the forest path, level, south-westwards to the Schmiederalm (1674m; Gasthaus), soon after turn left off the access road and always follow the G markings on the footpath and forest path in a level to slightly descending forest crossing back to the Laneralm
