Steger Saw and Tschaminschwaige

The hike begins in Tiers at the village community house. From the village square, a path branches off to the east and brings the hiker fairly quickly to the meadows above Tiers. From there the trail continues eastwards on the marked path 6. At 1090 m you come across a wayside cross and a wayside shrine. The trail first leads through meadows before it joins an asphalted road that crosses the slope in front of the Pattissenhof farm. On this road you climb up to the Wuhner Forststrasse and at 1200 m you reach Weißlahnbad. Now walk a short distance along the edge of the forest, past parking spaces down to the Tschaminbach stream. A small bridge leads across the stream to the Tschaminschwaige and the nature park centre Schlern-Rosengarten, which is well worth a visit. The return route is via the outward route.
