South Tyrolean Pearls Trail Val d'Ega - 6th stage from Nova Ponente to Kardaun

The route of this last stage of the Eggental Pearl Trail initially leads on the E5 northwards to the Wölflhof farm. (Here you could continue on the E5 to the Kohlern cable car in Bauernkohlern and take it directly down to Bolzano). From the Wölfl, the stage runs almost entirely on forest paths and tarred side roads. Shortly before the Wölfl, the route takes you east on the forest path marked with 3, which in turn joins path 5A after about 45 minutes of mostly level hiking. Following this moderately downhill, you reach the small Kapelle Halserpill after 40min. Here you turn left and follow the forest road through a few hairpin bends in just over an hour and 500 m downhill to the main road through the Eggental. At the Gasthof zur Sonne, located directly on the road, cross the road and take the slightly ascending tarred path towards the other side.
