Short hike to the mountain hamlet of Videgg
On steep forest and meadow slopes
From Merano via Schenna and Verdins to the valley station of the Verdins-Tall cable car (approx. 850 m, car park) and from there by cable car up to the mountain settlement of Oberkirn (1425 m). Now on foot, follow the signs to Videgg and the signposting 20 on the asphalted road in a scenic, partly level, partly slightly up and down hike across steep meadows and forest slopes and past extremely steep mountain passes;The trail leads through steep meadows and woodland and past extremely steep mountain slopes below the trail and a cave to the southeast to the meadows of Videgg and the slopes with the chapel (1536 m, several places to stop for refreshments); from Oberkirn around 1:00 hrs. The return to Oberkirn is on the described path; similar walking time (however, hikers who enjoy walking can always follow the signs to Verdins from the above-mentioned mill); following trail 1 to the Pixnerhof (snack station) and trail 4 down to a high bridge over the Masulschlucht gorge and return to
