.This loop in the Passeier Valley is characterised by several advantages: The paths are relatively easy to walk and we are accompanied by several attractions. Our route also includes a section of the "Seven Sorrows of Mary" contemplation trail. It starts in Kuens and leads to the pilgrimage church of Riffian. The artist was Hartmut Hintner, who designed the seven reflection points with steles made of Swiss stone pine. In addition, there are always wonderful views, for example of the pilgrimage church of Riffian, the villages and hamlets on the opposite side of the valley, the mountains of the Hirzer area. In addition, the entire loop is also part of the Merano Waalrunde. This is a circular trail in the Merano area that is a good 80 km long and connects a total of 11 irrigation channels.
