Berühmte Wanderziele westlich über Brixen: der Radlsee ist sicherlich einer der schönsten und bekanntesten Naturseen der Umgebung; die Königsangerspitze ist einer der aussichtsreichen Gipfel der Sarntaler Alpen.
Anfahrt von Brixen über Tils bis zu einem Parkplatz nahe dem Perlungerhof (1380 m). Von da nun zu Fuß stets auf Weg 8 teilweise nur mäßig, teilweise aber auch stärker ansteigend durch Nadelwälder hinauf zur Baumgrenze und weiter bergan zum Radlsee, in dessen Nähe das Radlseehaus steht (2284 m; Sommerbewirtschaftung; ab Ausgangspunkt 2:30 – 3:00 Std.). Vom Schutzhaus nun auf dem Steig 7 durch steinige Grashänge und über den unschwierigen Gipfelgrat in 0:30 Std. hinauf zum Gipfelkreuz der Königsangerspitze (2436 m). – Der Abstieg erfolgt über die beschriebene Aufstiegsroute in gut 2:00 Std.
