Prad-Stilfs-Prad (Archaic Trail)

We start our hike on trail no. 11 at the Sulden bridge behind the aquaprad national park house. First we go via Gargitz, past the lower Mitterhof farm and then up past the Patzleidhof farm to the barbecue areas. There we keep to the right and follow the M. Archaikweg 11. The wide trail leads through sparse mixed forest, sometimes quite steeply uphill, and offers beautiful views over valley and mountain. Also at the crossroads after about 1:30 hours of walking time, we keep to the right (M. Stilfs Nr. 11) to reach Kaschlin (1430 m) without diversions. We have reached the highest point on our way. Continue westwards across the so-called Wassertal (water valley), now descending to Stilfs. The return path no. 9 begins at the Sonne inn after the church. It leads us down almost to the Stilfser bridge and then over the Agumser Bergwaal back to Prad.
