Ascend from Plätzwiese to Sennes via Cimabanche.

A long and physically demanding hike, mainly through woods, but while offering glimpses of splendid views. Several steep ascents and descents on good and well-marked trails. From Plätzwiese, you descend via the spectacular Val dei Canope to Cimabanche. After 1 km along a path flanking the road, climb through Val de Gotres towards Forcella Lerosa, a meadow plateau surrounded by beautiful mountain peaks. After a steep forested descent begin the final climb through the lovely Val Salataand to reach your destination, the Rifugio Sennes, located at an altitude of 2100m.
