Hiking tour on an old flagstone path

From Barbian (836 m) we hike along the pavement in the direction of Saubach. Before we reach the hamlet, we turn right onto the forest road with the sign "Saubacher Rundweg". We march upwards on this forest road. After about half an hour, we reach the Kofelweg trail leading steeply uphill to the right (M. red-white-red No. 28). After about 1:30 hours we reach a comfortable forest road (continue to the left at the first bend), which takes us to the first alpine pastures of Schritzenholz (1457 m). We stay on this path, which turns off to the north past more alpine pastures. We continue upwards until we reach trail no. 27, which crosses our path. We now hike down to the right following M. 27. After crossing the stream, we soon reach the alpine pastures of Pian. From there we descend to the Kaserbach stream. The descent continues along M. 27. Near Kasserol it branches off to the left, towards Briol and Dreikirchen. We stay on trail no. 3, which leads us down to Barbian.
