To the Oberen Horn
View-rich summit hike to the Rittner Horn from the Schwarzseespitze.

From Pemmern (1538 m, car park, refreshment stop) first take the cable car up to Schwarzseespitze (2071 m; restaurant here). Now walk sharply to the right, southeast, following the signs for the Panorama Trail and trail mark 19 down to the Runden Tisch (2045 m), on the wide Panorama Trail, partly on level ground and partly slightly downhill, through the southern and eastern mountain pastures;d- and east-facing mountain pine slopes of the Schwarzseespitze to the saddle between the aforementioned peak and the Rittner Horn (2022 m); now take a few steps to the right up to the Unterhornhaus (2042 m; inn; not far from it the Feltunerhütte, another mountain inn; from the starting point just under 1 hour.) and on the good path – via the open grassy paths fairly straight up to the summit of the Rittner Horn (2260 m; from Schwarzseespitze including the panoramic path 1:30 hrs). Recommended descent: As in the ascent back to the Unterhornhaus, but here turn right on the lower path (marking 1)
