The Alte Dorfwaal leads above Dorf Tirol at the Tiroler Kreuz a short distance into the Spronser Tal.
The hike to the Alter Dorfwaal starts at the northern edge of the village at the bus stop near the café Lechner. Pass Waalweg 9A below the Tiroler Kreuz to the junction with trail 6. Turn left and return to the Tiroler Kreuz or the starting point.
