A little above Oberkirn trail no. 4 leads through the meadows to Prenn. This picturesque small village offers wonderful views of Merano and Environs and is a lovely place to stop for a while. Passing the Alpenblick inn, the trail initially crosses through meadows before heading into the bright woodland to the farmsteads in Untertall. After passing the Untermeinlechner tavern, it leads through the Masulschlucht gorge down to Verdins.
