Easy high trail near Antermoia (Untermoi)

From the parking area at Pe de Börz (1,862 m), follow Trail No. 1 on a wide supply road, partly flat and partly with a slight grade, winding through the forest to the tree line and finally out into open Alpine pastureland, up to the Maurerberghütte mountain hut (2,156 m, in some maps listed as 2,120 m; operated in the summer; 1 hour from the parking lot). From there, continue on Trail No. 1, up over the grassy ridge to the gentle crest of Alfreider Joch (2,280 m), and then only very slightly uphill to a large cross on the summit of Maurerberg Mountain (2,332 m, commemorative plaque from the cross inauguration, which was performed by Bishop Gargitter in 1977; 45 minutes from the hut). Your best bet for the route of descent from Maurerberg Mountain is the route of ascent described (1.5 hours).
