From farm to farm over easy paths
Through meadows and woods of larches to the farms and the picturesque wooden housings of the valley Pustertal.

From Moos in Sexten (1327 m; the path starts next to the signs near the church) you will continuously follow the path n. 3A along the narrow road until you reach the highest houses. Then you can follow the paths over the grassy hills and past the farms Christler and Troyer until you reach the hut Helmhanghütte (1650 m, restaurant, opened during the summer season). You keep walking uphill until you reach the huts on the now plain grounds (“Negerdorf”, 1705 m) where you turn left, following the sign “Tschurtschenthaler” (n. 13) that brings you to a wide path over the meadows and through the forest. This way you will eventually reach the Mitterberg fortress, from Moos approx. 1.5h. Here you can now continue along the path n. 3B over the hillsides and downhill to the valley’s road and back to the point where you started. From the fortress approx. 30 min.
