Lez di Rumo
Hiking trail
· Val di Non
A long gentle path that overlooks the village of Rumo offering beautiful glimpses of Val Lavazzè.
easy
Distance 10.2 km
Lez di Rumo is much longer than the other paths through the valley along the irrigation channels. So, you can choose to just follow part of it or to combine it with another trail to make a loop. For example, it may be interesting the combine the path of the mines between Marcena and Corte Inferiore or join the special path of the statues in the final part of the irrigation channel.
Author’s recommendation
It’s worth stopping at Corte Inferiore to visit the beautiful church of San Udalrico.

Turn-by-turn directions
Lez di Rumo can be reached from the asphalt road that climbs from Corte Inferiore towards Proves. Shortly before a right-hand bend you can see a large picnic area with a cooking spot. Beyond the road you can see the clear path that enters into the flat woody area. The first stretch weaves narrowly through the woods with views of the village of Corte Inferiore and the unusual church of San Udalrico. The path then gets wider and has new fences separating the track from the passage of the irrigation channel. There are beautiful views over the steep valley of Lavazzè where the mountain farm that goes by the same name emerges. The “lez” passes above the village of Lanza and then enters into a dense wood towards the ferruginous spring. Near the spring and the relative wooden fountain the statue path begins, a downhill path of about 400 metres where you can see the wooden statues made by local sculptors. At the end of this short path the forest route on the left rises again until it meets the “lez” on the right and returns to the starting point.

Getting there
Rumo is a small village made up of various clusters in the furthest north west part of Val di Non. To reach it you need to take the road towards Proves and Val d’Ultimo from Revò. In Frari there are directions that send you left leading to Rumo in just a few kilometres. After reaching the first few houses turn right to climb towards Corte Inferiore and then continue along the narrow asphalt road that climbs towards Proves. Shortly before a big bend you can see a large picnic area on the right with a canopy and a cooking spot.Parking
