From Pfalzen to the fountain chapel in Hasenried, then on to the Issinger Weiher pond and back to Pfalzen via the themed trail „Steine erzählen".
Palatinate granite is encountered at every turn along this trail: dry stone walls, fences, the outdoor workshop of a sculptor. It was highly valued as a building stone and was even used in the construction of the Franzensfeste. We also pay a visit to the well chapel in Hasenried.
