Round hike near Merano 2000 - from the Pfiffinger Köpfl to the Kuhleitenhütte at the foot of the Ifinger mountain.

From the Merano 2000 mountain station on the Pfiffinger Köpfl you hike along the wonderfully laid out panoramic path past the Naifjoch in the direction of the Ifinger. From here, a very steep shortcut leads up under the rocky walls of the Ifinger and to the Kuhleiten hut. Leisurely hikers continue uphill on trail 19A to the Oswaldscharte. Shortly behind is the fantastically situated Kuhleitenhütte at the foot of the Ifinger with a magnificent panoramic view. Descent as ascent or via the shortcut to the Naifjoch. Take the Waidmannsweg trail (marked 18A) back to the starting point.
