Kneipp hike in the Gsieser Valley

When the summer temperatures break every record in the cities and the body craves cooling down, this hike is just right. We start in the village centre of Welsberg and walk leisurely along the well-described road to the majestic Welsperg Castle, the subject of many photo motifs. Some admire the well-stocked castle garden, but the children imagine how the knights rode over the castle bridges or which castle ghost might have lived here. Treading water in the cold Rudlbach: We hike further into the Gsieser Tal valley, where we cross the road at the Brückenwirt and take the road up towards Schindelholz. After a short climb, we see fascinating earth pyramids in the distance and follow the signs for the Pyramiden-Kneippweg. The entrance to the Kneipp path is hard to miss, and we immediately take off our hiking boots to refresh our feet at the first small waterfall. Then we continue barefoot.
