In the east of the Vinschgau Valley - a family hike
Tour provided by the Algund Tourism Association Take the bus from Algund to Naturns and get off at the Schnalserhof stop. There you cross the Schnalserbach stream, where the ascent to Juval Castle (920 m, home of Reinhold Messner) begins. Below the castle, the Schnalser Waal (Tscharser Waal) flows past, offering a comfortable Waal path at the water bell (path no. 3). Branching off to the left, you run along the water channel, with a wonderful view as far as Tschars. Shortly before the village, there is a turnoff to the Himmelreich inn, continue to Tschars village and briefly down to the road, where the bus to Algund stops.
