Der Weg beginnt beim Pass, in der Nähe der gleichnamigen Hütte (1978 m). Der Beschilderung SAT Nr. 7 folgen, ein Weg durch Wiesen, der zur Isi Hütte (1850 m) führt. Weiter bis zur weißen Forststraße, für den Verkehr gesperrt, und dann nach rechts, vorbei an der Grundinalm (1946 m) und dann zum Jochgrimm.
