Turn-by-turn directions
This demanding if rewarding hike starts in the center of the village of Dorf Tirol/Tirolo. Follow the signposts for the Muthoefe farms (23B) then continue from Tanzgasse in the centre of the village uphill in the direction of the Hochmuth inn (trail no. 24A). Then take trail no. 22 to the Mutkopf inn (1684 m). After a well-earned rest, the return route follows the steep trail no. 23 down the mountain to the Talbauer inn (1172 m). Continuing along trail no. 23, the route again heads downhill to the Tiroler Kreuz inn. From here return to Dorf Tirol either on foot or by bus.
