From Casèra di Fuori-Vorderkaser (1,693 m, car park and restaurant) you proceed up a gentle slope on an unpaved road among larches (signposted 24, previously 39) passing by the Mitterkaser (1,954 m; one hour from the starting point) and Rableid huts (2,004, both with refreshments) across meadows to the new Eishof alpine hut (2,070 m, with restaurant); 1.5 – 2 hours. Return via the same easy route.
