The hike leads to the beautifully situated mountain lake Völser Weiher (1036 m ) below the Schlern massif and can be varied according to your mood.
Leave your car at the Hotel St. Anton (on the road from Vols to Siusi). On the other side of the road is the road to the Völser Weiher pond. At the first bend, turn right onto trail 14 and then onto trail 15, which leads to trail 1. The trail then climbs slightly via Obervöls to the Völser Weiher lake. If you go around the lake to the right and then – slightly down – through the forest on trail 2, you will reach the road to Siusi again. From here, follow trail 11, which first runs beside and then below the road, to the Hotel St. Anton.
