Turn-by-turn directions

Here the route heads down the main street (Hauptstraße) as far as Keschtngasse. Alternatively you could take the route along Gnaidweg, which branches right off Hauptstraße past the "Wasserpark" swimming bath until it meets the junction with Keschtngasse. This road then winds at a leisurely pace through the vineyards. Passing several information points providing fascinating facts about wine, winegrowing and the history of wine along the way, the trail eventually joins the Falknerpromenade as it heads in the direction of "Doss". If you wish, at this point you can turn off onto the Brunnenburgsteig and extend your hike to take in a worthwhile trip to the Brunnenburg (agricultural museum). Otherwise, follow Schlossweg and Hauptstraße back to your starting point.
