The circular hike leads from St. Michael to the natural phenomenon of ice holes and past the Gleifkirche church back to Eppan.

The starting point for the circular hike is the village centre of St. Michael/Eppan. First follow trail no. 540 for about 500 m in a southerly direction and after about 10 minutes turn left and follow trail marker 7A in a westerly direction. After about 45 minutes you will reach the Eisl;cher. The trail continues following trail mark 7A to Gasthof Steinegger and from here you follow trail 8B past the Gleifkirche church back to the starting point.
