Experience the splendour of the mountains Impressive circular hiking tour over the southern slopes of the Odle di Oeores/Aferer Geisler mountains in Val di Funes
From the parcheggio Zannes (1680 m), take path no. 25 along the Caserill stream (about ½ hour). Turn left at the signpost "Herrensteig" and walk up through the forest for about 20 minutes until you reach a crossroads (1960 m). There the path turns right, following the signs "Oberer Herrensteig". Continue along the "Oberer Herrensteig" (No. 25) westwards to a shoulder (2250 m, highest point of the hike). Continue on the "Almsteig" (2140 m; not far from there is a shepherd's hut), then down to the fork in the path and turn left onto path 32A down to the beautiful Kofel meadow (1952 m). From the Kofel meadow follow the signpost "Zans" down to the forest. Follow the "Unteren Herrensteig" - trail nr. 32 - along (first slightly ascending, then more steeply descending) to another fork where you turn left and continue on the forest trail marked 32. Finally, take path no. 32B, which branches off to the right and is marked "Waldsteig", through the forest down to the reserve of Zannes and back to
