A hike from village to village in the Merano area
From the state road in Gargazon, pass the Gasthof Zum Turm and then follow the Vöranerweg uphill. At the large bend to the right, cross the bridge over the Aschlbach stream on the left. The trail then climbs in steep serpentines to the Morosing, Pfrontscher and Steger hills. We should not miss the view into the romantic gorge of the Aschlbach! From there we can either comfortably reach the centre of Vöran via the road, or we can take the steeper but more beautiful footpath to the mountain station of the Vöran cable car. Either take the cable car to Burgstall and the bus back to the starting point or the same as the outward route.
