The trail begins at the Kirchbrücke in Wiesen, trail mark 24, following the road on a moderate incline to Sprechenstein Castle. The path (marker 24) through the forest is somewhat more strenuous but more beautiful, then turn right along the forest road to Sprechenstein Castle (1071 m). On the north side of the castle, descend (signpost) to the dam of the Pfitscher Bach stream. Return to Wiesen on the dam on the left or right side of the Pfitscher Bach stream. From Sprechenstein Castle, descent to the Burgfrieden inn or via the Trenser Höhenweg to Trens.
