Turn-by-turn directions
The hike begins at the tourist information office in Völs am Schlern. Follow trail nr. 6 and the signposts leading to "Prösels" through meadows and past farmhouses. After crossing a stream, the path leads slightly uphill through the village of Prösels and the castle.
We would recommend joining a guided audio tour in the castle. You can find out about tour dates and times at the tourist office or directly at the castle.
To get back, you can either take bus no. 176 or walk back the same way you came.
Refreshment stop along the hiking trail. Pram-friendly.
Note
