Turn-by-turn directions
From the church in Rasa (820m) follow the road eastward along trail no. 4 to the solitary Moserhof farm (small parking lot). There the nature trail leads southward along flat field paths to near Sumpfsee lake, which is known as Raiermoos (837m). Raiermoos was originally a large lake, which was created from clayey ice moraines, approx. 12,000 years ago. Today, it is a biotope and habitat for endangered plant and animal life. With a bit of luck, you might see a rare type of bird from one of the high viewing points. The lake is circled on the south side via footpaths, small bridges and through lush shrubs, you then arrive at the west side of the lake passing the sports area and returning to the starting point.
