From Pfalzen to Platten and Kofl

From Pfalzen near Bruneck (1022 m) follow markings 17 and 19 on the road leading to the Kofler am Kofl up to the upper village or no. 19, which branches off to the left. Now always follow this on the old footpath through the forest steeply up to the meadows of Platten, through these, past the aforementioned Wieshaus ruins, up to the eastern farms of Platten and on the road briefly westwards over to the Lechnerhof (1586 m, inn). From Pfalzen just under 2:00 hrs. Then on trail or path 18 in a largely flat traverse of the steep forest slopes and some stream branches eastwards over to the Kofler am Kofl (1487 m, inn, from Platten 1:00 hrs.) and finally from there following the M 17 for the most part on the old trail in a good 1:00 hrs. down to Pfalzen.
