Alpine pasture and lake.
A panoramic circular hike to the small Faglssee lake in the Texelgruppe.

From Magdfeld, follow the road, which is still paved at the beginning, later on a dirt road, ascending into the Kalmtal valley. After about a kilometre, the path is marked as trail no. 4. Follow this trail number further into the Kalmtal valley, past a farm and to the junction of trail 4A. Here follow trail no. 4 to the left into the forest. Cross a farm access road once more and then climb briskly on a rough track to the Faglsalm (refreshment stop) at 1980m. If you want, you can reach the small Faglssee lake at 2100m in about 20 minutes. The Rückweg leads on trail no. 6 from the Faglsalm in a gentle traverse of the slope eastwards onto a mountain ridge with a great view and on trail 6A down to the weather cross on the Fiechtjöchl. From here you follow the Guten Steig 6A through the forest in a north-easterly direction until you reach the starting point again.
