From Kasern to Heilig Geist

From Kasern in the rear Ahrntal valley (1595 m, large car park) on the old farm and valley path (Kreuzweg, marker 13), which runs a good distance below the valley road, largely level to the Lenzerhof farm and further down the valley to the first huts (refreshment facilities);From there, a footpath leads briefly down to the bridge over the Ahr and, after crossing it, a few steps to the mostly open little church of Heilig Geist (1621 m; from Kasern ½ hours).). Return to Kasern: either via the described outward route or from the church on path 12 orographically left out of the valley, finally on a wide bridge back over the Ahr and a few metres uphill to the car park.
