From Filzbach to the enchanting Talalpsee and back
The Talalpsee on the Kerenzerberg in Glarus is a pearl worth discovering!
Filzbach on the Kerenzerberg is the starting point for this hike. We climb up to the Habergschwänd mountain inn, always with a fantastic view of the fjord-like Walensee, the village of Amden lying on a sunny terrace and the striking Churfirsten peaks. A terrace with a magnificent panorama awaits us at the Habergschwänd mountain inn, where it is well worth taking a break.
Then we continue towards the Talalpsee. This enchanting place is hidden in a small side valley, which is already part of the UNESCO World Heritage Tectonic Arena Sardona.
After the lake, we can take a break.
After circling the lake, the hike takes us back down to Filzbach.
By the way: If you want to make it easier for yourself, save yourself the ascent or descent and take the chairlift from Filzbach to Habergschwänd.
