From Coredo to the Sanctuary of San Romedio
A trail that allows you to immerse yourselves completely in nature, discovering two lakes, a small waterfall, a biotope, and one of the most charming hermitages in Europe.
easy
Distance 8.8 km
The trail is extremely varied and suitable for all. The descent to the Sanctuary is mostly in the shade, as is the walk through Coredo pine wood. For this reason this hike is ideal on a hot day.

Due Laghi
Turn-by-turn directions
From the town of Coredo follow Viale dei Sogni SAT 537, which is a convenient, completely flat trail through the woods, to reach Lake Coredo and Lake Tavon. The area of the Due Laghi stands out for its massive green park with a picnic area, an exercise course, a beach volleyball court, a children’s playground and a Segheria Veneziana (Venetian Sawmill) which is open to visitors in the summer. Walk alongside the lakes and take trail SAT 537 again, and then trail SAT 535 which both climb down to the Sanctuary of San Romedio, which rises on a rocky spur more than 70 metres high. To hike back, you can follow the same trail almost to Due Laghi. At the first junction, continue on the right and you will reach the town of Tavon. Once you have reached Agostini riding stables, continue along one of the many local trails referred to as “Dossi” and you will once again be surrounded by the green woods, where you can enjoy a relaxing and peaceful walk, and at one point you will encounter the characteristic Senda Biotope. Follow the signs to Coredo and the trail will lead you back to the upper part of town.
